Pittsburgh Steelers LB Kyron Johnson, LB Luquay Washington, LB Jacoby Windmon, LB Marcus Haynes, CB Zyon Gilbert, CB Thomas Graham, DT Willington Previlon, DT Jacob Slade, OG Tykeem Doss, OT Joey Fisher, QB John Rhys Plumlee, RB Aaron Shampklin, TE Matt Sokol, TE Rodney Williams, WR Jaray Jenkins, WR Duece Watts and WR Dez Fitzpatrick were waived Tuesday, Aug. 27. The team also released RB La'Mical Perine and RB Jonathan Ward and placed CB Ryan Watts (neck) and LB Julius Welschof (knee) on the Reserve/Injured list. LB Cole Holcomb (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

Undrafted free-agent QB John Rhys Plumlee (UCF) agreed to terms with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, April 27, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The Steelers announced a deal with RB Daijun Edwards (Georgia). Contractual terms were not disclosed.
